Welcome To Mr. Loosveldt's WIKI!
First things first. You might be asking yourself, What is a Wiki? What an excellent question. The answer: A wiki is an online document, a webpage, that can be edited right inside the web browser. What does that mean? It means that these webpages are shared by everyone in our classroom. It means that each of you have the priviledge and responsibility of making the classroom website. You can edit any of the pages in our website. I want our wiki to serve a number of functions: 1) Wikis are fluid. Students will be able to share their writing on the wiki and receive instant feedback. You can edit any of the pages on our website. Just make sure that you don't change someone else's work without asking them or be mendacious in your critique about the author's writing; 2) Our wiki will feature links to websites that contain pearls of wisdom about the craft of writing; 3) Our wiki will feature a calendar that will keep you informed about important due dates; 3) Bookreviews will be po

She sat calmly on a flat stone surrounded by sparse patches of grass. The rocky soil gave little nourishment to the gold speckled grass. The murky, gray sky looomed above her, starting to drop little icy orbs of water, splattering on her red face. The smell of salt water flooded her senses as she took in the veiw around her. Bright green bushes tainted with dark purple and trees enclosed the small opening. The trees towered above her in an almost foreboding manner, yet, they never stopped her. She peered down to the dark depths below. the waves crashing up against the already wet rocks seemed to be football fields away, but lay directly beneath her.
I thought this person did a fantastic job describing. i like the line "The murky, gray sky loomed above her, starting to drop little icy orbs of water..."
----R.D.
I thought this person did a fantastic job describing. i like the line "The murky, gray sky loomed above her, starting to drop little icy orbs of water..."</i
